Hello Lovelies!
I’ve had quite a few stamping fails in the past couple weeks because I keep picking colors that don’t contrast enough, so my stamping doesn’t show up at all, or it ends up looking very subtle. So I’ve decided to try painting some designs in color combos that I usually would never put together.
I started these nails off with L.A Colors Color Craze Hottie; a neon coral orange creme. I added a thin coat of Color Club Backstage Pass, it’s a clear based glitter topper with dark purple and silver hex/square glitters. Then I stamped everything with OPI Viking In A Vinter Vonderland and the Gogo Only St. Merry plate. I turned it matte with NYC Matte Me Crazy.
Usually I’d only use this bright of an orange with purple for a halloween design, but I think it turned out nicely!
These really remind me of the colors you’d see used in carnival posters or ticket stubs, plus the matte finish really brings home that papery feel.
Thanks for visiting with me!
