Hello Lovelies!
Although I do love the new Aiyoohehe plates to death, I am glad to be through my series of reviews on them and back to some fun freehand nail art! Steven Universe is my new obsession, so it was bound to pop up here on my nails some time or other, and when I saw these nails, I knew I had to re-create them!
If you haven’t seen the show, each character is named after a precious stone/gem, and these nails are inspired by Steven’s mom, Rose Quartz. Every crystal gem has a gem somewhere on their person, and Rose Quartz’s is on her stomach shown through a star cut-out in her dress, that’s what my thumb is. My index is the ruffles of her dress, middle and pinkie have some roses, and my ring features Rose Quartz herself!
I started with a base of Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Petal Pusher on my middle, ring, and pinkie, and OPI Alpine Snow for the rest. I used Wet n Wild Black Creme for all the black detailing, Wet n Wild Candy-Licious for her hair and lips, and Wet n Wild Lavender Creme for the hair and gem’s highlights.
See you later!
