Hello Lovelies!
Today’s theme is to re-create an old manicure of your own, I decided to re-do the first nail art I posted on this blog. You can see the original post here, I had done some hot chocolate nail art for a 365 challenge I was doing back then.
I kept the purple base, and then I painted steaming cups of tea and coffee in something closer to my current style. I’d love to hear what you think of the change in quality between the two!
I used Color Club Pucci-Licious for the base, it was almost a one coater, but not quite. It has a nice thick creamy formula, it reminded me how much I like purple polishes, I hardly ever wear them.
I used black and white acrylic paint for all the outlining and highlighting, and then a whole spread of pastel polishes for the mugs and tea cups. On my thumb and index finger I used Sinful Colors Let Me Go for the swirls of steam, Let Me Go is a sheer iridescent purple that leans towards blue, I think it’s really pretty over this purple.
Thanks for the visit!
