Tati Westbrook’s cult-favorite Halo Beauty supplement line has rave reviews from countless fans but a hard to swallow price tag. I went on an intense search to find a budget-friendly Halo Beauty dupe, and here’s what I found!
Nature’s Bounty Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin & Nails Extra Strength is an almost perfect Kiwi Halo Beauty Dupe! You can buy it for under $10 for 150 capsules which works out to a measly 2 cents per dose. On the other hand, Kiwi is .99 cents per dose and $29.95 for a monthly supply.
The Centrum Women Multivitamin is a great Hair Skin Nails Booster Halo Beauty Dupe. You can buy this for under $16 for 250 capsules which works out to 6 cents per dose. Much better than $1.33 a dose, that’s what you’d be spending for the original $39.95 Halo formula.
These alternatives are far cheaper than their Halo Beauty counterparts, but do they really give the same results? I’ve broken down each of the vitamins below and the facts speak for themselves!

Halo Beauty Dupe: Are They Just As Effective?
As you can see below the Centrum Multivitamin has 8/9 of the traditional vitamin components of the Hair Skin Nails Booster. You can find Centrum sold in almost every grocery and drugstore, or online here. But as you can also see it is missing quite a few of the ingredients with no daily value percentages. (if there is NDV this means it’s not a nutrient essential for daily health).
Catalase is one of the main ingredients that I was not able to find in these multivitamin dupe options. Catalase is an enzyme that is naturally produced by your body (mainly in the liver) and most catalase deficiencies are not caused by diet choices. There isn’t actually any scientific evidence that catalase supplements have any effect on catalase levels in the body.
That isn’t to say that all of the NDV ingredients in Halo are useless. There is just not a satisfactory amount of clinical studies showing beneficial results on every single one. You can click each individual ingredient on the Halo site to see its claimed benefits and uses.
If you are in the market for a supplement to improve your hair and skin health I highly recommend that you start out by trying a basic multivitamin like the Centrum or Nature’s Bounty supplements. They will likely give the same results and save you a ton of cash in the long run since these supplements need 3+ months of steady usage to show any real results.

Do the different daily value percentages make a difference?
Water-soluble vitamins like vitamin C or vitamin B are not stored in the body and excess nutrients will be excreted in your urine. For example, my recommended dupe doesn’t come anywhere near the 1000% of biotin used in Halo Beauty’s supplement. All that excess biotin will just be expelled from the body and is unnecessary for the average person. It won’t hurt you, but it’s not doing much good to go so far overboard.
Unless your health provider recommends that you take a higher dose of a supplement to treat a health condition, don’t worry about getting over 100% of the daily recommended amount.
Which Halo Beauty Dupe is better?
This depends on what area you want to improve! If you’re focused on improving your skin go for the Nature’s Bounty supplement. If you want to improve your hair and nail health start taking the Centrum supplement. The Centrum vitamin is also great for skin health so if you want to cover all your bases I’d recommend you swing towards that brand.
Don’t be tempted to pop both supplements! It is possible to overdose on nutrients; although it would take quite a bit. Excess water-soluble vitamins will exit your body each day but fat-soluble vitamins will be stored by your body and can be harmful if they become too concentrated.
Are these Halo Dupes vegan and gluten-free?
These are both gluten-free formulas. They are not vegan, although the Nature’s Bounty supplement is fish-free. Some of the ingredients in the formula are derived from animal products. Both Halo Beauty supplements are vegan and gluten-free. So if you have a vegan lifestyle go with the original from Halo!
If I find a vegan dupe down the road it will be added to this post, but very few supplement lines use vegan formulas so I doubt that will happen.
How long do hair, skin, nails vitamins take to work?
You can find customer submissions on the Halo website showing visible results within 3 weeks but most customers show improvement after 2+ months of use. The majority of clinical studies done on oral supplements targetted towards hair and skin health allow 90 days of use before wrapping things up. I recommend giving any supplement or vitamin at least 90 days before giving up. Also, make sure to keep track of what supplements you are taking so you can inform your doctor at any checkups in the future!
Cheap Methods to Improve Your Hair and Nail Health
Supplements should not be the first place you turn if you’re having trouble with your skin or nail/hair health. Vitamins alone cannot make up for a poor diet. Biotin naturally occurs in many foods such as bananas, beans, cauliflower, eggs, and salmon. Zinc is also a very important mineral for skin health. You can get more zinc into your diet by eating cashews, green beans, red meat, lobster, oysters or soybeans. (source)
