Hello Lovelies!
These nails are from quite a ways back, I ended up only posting them on Instagram, so I feel they deserve a write up. I created these for the fairytale theme in the #aiyoohehe20off challenge.
I went through my stamping plates and picked images I thought popped up in fairytales often, like witches, crowns, masks (masquerade balls or disguises?), peacock feathers, and finally True Love (I accidentally stamped that upside down…) which almost always triumphs over the evil villain.
Since I stamped these so long ago I’m not sure what all I ended up using, I know the crown and peacock print are from BP-L007, I stamped those and the witch with Salon Perfect Oh Snap!, and she came from SH02. I’m pretty sure the base is NYC Robin’s Egg Blue. I stamped the mask and “True Love” with Color Club Reddy or Not, no idea which plates though.
I haven’t painted any fairytale inspired nails in ages, I love reading about different culture’s myths and folklore, I think the last collection I read was Japanese. Maybe I should re-boot my water kappa design?
See you later~
