The Best Serums at Walmart: In-Store

The Best Budget-Friendly Serums at Walmart!

Prices quoted are accurate as of the time of publication.

The first three serums are all from L’oreal Paris. If you want to snag some extra savings check out this page for L’oreal Paris coupons and sales. These serums are all reasonably priced to begin with but I’ll never turn down an extra good deal!

L’Oreal Paris Hyaluronic Acid Serum $22.32

This is a simple but effective hyaluronic acid serum from L’Oreal. You may know the brand mainly for makeup but they have actually produced some pretty damn good skincare (or at least better than most drugstore brands ?).

HA (hyaluronic acid) is perfect for all skin types but is especially great for dry skin types. Hyaluronic Acid is able to hold 1000x its weight in water and helps to plump up the skin and boost water retention!

L’Oreal Paris Derm Intensives Vitamin C Serum $23.94

The L’Oreal Paris Derm Intensives Vitamin C Serum packs a 10% punch of pure Vitamin C! This serum is smartly packaged in a metal tube to prevent UV exposure which can turn Vitamin C serums yellow and keeps bacteria from contaminating the product between uses. If Vitamin C is exposed to excess air or sunlight it can oxidize and become impotent! Read more about why this happens over here.

Vitamin C has been proven to improve skin elasticity, decrease wrinkles by stimulating collagen synthesis, boost the skin’s immune system, and repair damage caused by free radicals!

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives 10% Pure Glycolic Acid Serum $23.94

Glycolic acid is my all-time favorite chemical exfoliator hands down! The Revitalift Derm Intensives 10% Pure Glycolic Acid Serum is a daily exfoliating serum that helps to even skin tone and reduce wrinkles. GA (glycolic acid) gently exfoliates the skin by dissolving the bonds that hold dead skin cells together and speeding up skin cell turnover.

If you already have an exfoliant in your routine be careful before throwing in a chemical exfoliant like this serum. Here’s why you shouldn’t use both chemical and physical exfoliants at the same time!

e.l.f. Antioxidant Booster Drops $7.50

Not all e.l.f skincare was created alike as I discovered in my Walmart Skincare Routine for Less Than $40 but they hit it out of the park with their booster drop line. These antioxidant drops have Niacinamide, Vitamin E + C, and Snow Mushroom Extracts. They can be applied straight to the skin or mixed into another product like your daily moisturizer or night cream.

e.l.f. Hydrating Booster Drops $7.50

Coming in at the same tempting price of $7.50 is the Hydrating Booster Drops. This version focuses on Vitamin E and Glutamic Acid which are both amazing at boosting skin hydration.

CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Face Serum $16.97

I had to include a product from my all-time favorite drugstore skincare brand, CeraVe! Their Resurfacing Retinol Serum is a dermatologist formulated serum with 3 essential ceramides, encapsulated retinol, and licorice root extract. This was created to help reduce redness from acne, acne scars, and heal enlarged pores while retinol brightens and smooths out your skin texture.

CeraVe constantly runs coupons in the Sunday paper + attaches peelie coupons to in-store products which can make for an even better deal. I’ve recently been seeing $5 off two products stickers at Walgreens and Walmart.

Last but not least, I have a final snail skincare product! Ever since I fell into the world of Korean skincare I simply can’t get enough of snail mucin extract.
