Hello Lovelies!
Now before I get into the knitty gritty of the review, there’s a bit of a story to what happened when I bought this.
I was at Walmart shopping with my mom, we had gone in for shampoo I think, and I noticed this in with all the face washes and decided to try it out because I’ve been into trying products with charcoal lately.
So we get to the checkout, and we literally only have two things (the shampoo, and my charcoal soap). The cashier bags the shampoo, then looks at my soap weirdly and puts it in it’s own separate bag. And I guess he noticed me looking at him funny, because I’m over here thinking, “Why is he giving these two tiny things their own bags???”
The guy pulls my soap out, and says, and I quote, “Oh sorry, I thought it was rat poison and didn’t want to put it in with the shampoo.”
Rat poison??! I mean come on dude…. My mom had already pointed out that she though activated charcoal was a weird thing to put on my face, and then the cashier tries to tell us it’s rat poison. Was someone up there trying to convince me not to buy this?
Anyways…. I suppose I should tell you lovelies what I actually thought of it! It’s the Yes to Tomatoes Activated Charcoal Bar Soap, and as I said before I found it at Walmart for less than four bucks.
It’s pretty straightforward, you suds the bar up and wash your face, I’ve been using it on and off for a couple weeks. It’s gentle but gives a good clean at the same time, and I really like the scent. And since it’s such a huge bar, for such a low price, I think it’s a great bargain!
See you later~
