Good morning lovelies!
Today I have a rundown on the Skinfood Black Sesame Hot Mask. I found it on Amazon for about 10 bucks, I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now, and I’m ready to tell you what I think!
It’s a thick mask, it feels oily while you massage it into your skin, but it rinses off like soap. I suspect the glycerin base is the secret to it “heating up”, I think the oil conducts heat fast and makes it feel like it’s self heating. After a couple minutes the mask does start to drip and melt, so be sure not to get any near your eyes (found that out the hard way, ouch)! This has sesame seed powder which makes for a super fine exfoliant, and despite that oily feel, it isn’t very moisturizing.
This claims to “deep cleanse and smooth rough scaly skin”.The directions are entertaining, they say “Apply an appropriate amount to face, particularly to areas rich in keratin.” What?? I wasn’t aware that we have keratin on our faces…
This was a fun product to add to my skin care collection, but didn’t give me the wow factor I was hoping for.
Kinda looks like I ground pepper on my face |
Pop over again tomorrow morning!
