Hard Candy Velvet Mousse in Wisteria

Good morning lovelies!

I’m not usually one to don colorful lipsticks (a.k.a anything not pink/red), but Hard Candy lured me in with their beautiful packaging and the cutely named Velvet Mousse line.
I chose the shade Wisteria, it’s a deep creamy eggplant purple.
This isn’t a true matte as you can tell by the picture below, but it’s less shiny than a satin. I’m glad that it turned out this way though, because matte products always dry out my lips and look ghastly by the end of the day.

It comes in a darling metal velvet lined case, with a mirrored lid. The applicator is a flat doe foot that screws out of the tube.
When I was reading reviews of this shade online, I kept hearing people complaining about Wisteria being streaky, but it was perfectly opaque for me. It survived me eating lunch, and there was no visible wear. It does transfer, but only lightly.
