Indigo Studs w/Lady Queen Beauty

Hello Lovelies! I have a nail art review for you today! A couple weeks ago Lady Queen Beauty emailed me to ask if I’d like to review some of their nail art supplies, and I jumped at the chance! Their online store is very similar […]

China Glaze Liquid Crystal Swatches

Hello Lovelies! This gorgeous shimmery concoction is China Glaze Liquid Crystal from the Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection! It’s packed with super fine blue tinted silver glitter and a rainbow of hex glitters. In the bottle it looks like it has a purple shimmer, but it didn’t […]

Swatch Sundays: China Glaze Rare & Radiant

Hello Lovelies!

I’m swatching up some China Glaze today! This is Rare & Radiant from the New Bohemian Collection, it’s a duochrome that shifts from grassy lime to golden green. This polish looks radically different when you go from shade to sunlight, it has a really strong shift! This is two coats without topcoat, it dries to a fabulous shiny finish.

I wore this for around 5 days before it chipped on me, that was with some stamping and topcoat though.

See you later~

Radiant Feathers

Hello Lovelies! These are the nails I wore on a week long trip to Arizona a while back, I started out wanting to go for a desert-y look, but somehow ended up with duo-chrome feathers? Doesn’t really invoke desert thoughts, but I liked how they […]

Ancient Orient Rice Exfoliator Review

Hello Lovelies! Today I have a quick review on OZ Natural’s Ancient Orient Rice Enzyme Dermafoliant, it’s an exfoliator in powder form! It has a shaker top that twists open and shut, but the top is difficult to twist so I usually just take the […]

Northwest Comic Fest 2015

Hello Lovelies!

Sorry for the lack of blog activity, I’ve been over at Northwest Comic Fest! I actually kept my camera on me for once, so here’s a small pic spam~

Fem Lolita 10th Doctor & Nyo!America

On day one I cosplayed Nyo!America, and my friend Finn was Fem!10th Doctor in Lolita. I actually made that skirt last minute the night before con, you would not believe how hard it is to find a box pleated skirt! I used this tutorial with a few tweaks, if you’re into cosplay or even just sewing, that’s a great channel with tons of fantastic vids.

Marty McFly

Twirling with her sonic~

Rocket Raccoon

Harley Quinn & Joker

Board with a nail in it man! He was a riot 😛

I can’t remember her character’s name, I think she was from World of Warcraft??

There was a great turnout for the costume contest!

Loved Ariel’s fishy faces~

Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service

I didn’t get any pictures of the whole thing, but this is “The Beast”, it was a huge metal contraption that supposedly actually walked, but I never saw it move. It was fun to clamber up in though!

A super cute Madoka
Wednesday & me as Tsukimi from Princess Jellyfish

This Wednesday cosplayer was amazing, I had to get a pic of our matching black braids.

Holo from Spice & Wolf

There was a princess/superhero/geeky fashion show, all the dresses were amazing, my favorite was Maleficent’s (far right).

                                              Mirai from Kyoukai no Kanata

I had a blast and met a ton of wonderful people, I’ll definitely be attending again next year!

See you later~

Swatch Sundays: Picture Polish Frosting by Cosmetic Cupcake

Hello Lovelies!Today I’ve got Picture Polish Frosting by Cosmetic Cupcake swatched up for you! I have actually swatched this up before, but that was way back in 2013 with my nubbins. So I decided to re-swatch it on my newly shaped nails~Frosting is a pale […]

Don’t worry, I speak whale

Hello Lovelies!

Usually I’ve done some sort of summer watermelon nail art by now, but I’ve gotten into a rut and haven’t been able to think of anything creative, beyond just the rounded rind design.
I found this adorable watermelon whale doodle by the Malaysian artist Lim Heng Swee, and it was just the inspiration I needed! His doodles are super cute and sometimes funny, I found tons of them on his Instagram here. I especially like this doodle of the sun brushing it’s “hair”.

The red base is Color Club Reddy or Not, and the blue is e.l.f Mint Cream. I stamped the sunflower design with Wet n Wild Black Creme and BM-710, the whale’s watermelon belly rind was done with Maybelline Color Show Cool Canary & Rimmel London Camoflauge, and I finished the whole design off with INM Out The Door Topcoat.
I’m loving this new topcoat and the uber shiny finish, but it’s so shiny that I had a hard time taking clear pictures of the nail art because of the gleam!

See you later!
