Valentia Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask & Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub

Hello Lovelies!

I have another Valentia review today! They sent me their Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask and Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub to try out. I even went so far as to take some face mask pics to show you lovelies how these played out!

I just love the scent of the Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub, tea scented products are pretty rare to come by! I used to have a B&BW’s mist that was white tea scented, but it up and ran off on me.

This scrub has the same jiggly jello texture as the last Valentia product I wrote about, it’s fun to shake around in it’s container 😀
The scrub is a mix of pumice and jojoba beads, they’re mixed into a thick cloudy gel. This is actually moisturizing too, which surprised me! You have to “chase” the scrubby beads around a bit because of the thick gel, but I actually enjoyed the thicker feeling. This is a gentle product as exfoliants go, so unless you have highly sensitive skin, you could use this everyday.

The clay mask is a lightly cranberry scented pale beige with black speckles (the exfoliating beads), and it’s about the same thickness as yogurt. I’ve never run into an exfoliating clay mask before, you let the mask dry for 15 mins per usual, then when you remove it instead of just rinsing off, you use circular motions with a washcloth or your fingers, to get some added exfoliation. I usually watch youtube vids or catch up on anime while I wait for masks like this to dry, but it’s always a challenge not to crack the mask while I’m cracking up at something funny that just happened.
This isn’t as drying as other clay masks, and I love that it’s a 2in1 product!

See you later~
