Mish mash of a skin routine

Hello Lovelies!

Snooping through other people’s skin routines is always entertaining for me, so I figured why not do one of my one? Now it’s not so much of a routine as a grab bag, I’m pretty irregular about what I use everyday. But these are the ones I reach for most frequently!

Starting from the left, Freeman’s Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask! It’s a super thick mask as you can see below, you can use it as a normal exfoliator, and then since it’s made of sugar, once the sugar dissolves you can leave the remaining mixture on your skin as a mask for ten minutes before rinsing it off. I usually just use it as a scrub and skip the mask part though. Secondly is their Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask. This one is also very thick, and it’s tinted pale green. It feels cool on your skin and has a faint smell to it, not an avocado scent, more of a cucumber. You let this one dry until you can touch it and have your fingertip come away clean, then rinse it off with warm water.
I really love this one for when I’m feeling grimy, it does leave your skin feeling a bit tight and squeaky clean, but I like that in a cleanser occasionally.

The last two on the end are from #Bioque! I actually just started using these, I was sent them for review about a month ago. The first is a cleanser, their Gentle Purifying Skin Cleanser. It has an intriguing feel, it’s almost creamy but it suds up very nicely like a normal soap cleanser. It has orange peel oil in it, so it has a lovely citrus scent to it which will help wake you up in the morning! Listed in the ingredients is also caffeine in it, but I’ve never really believed that does much of anything when it’s in lotions and potions. Since I hadn’t heard anything about this brand before, I took some pics of the ingredient lists is anyone cares to peruse them.
Then there’s the Acid Free Facial Skin Refinisher, I’m sure they were trying to re-assure you with the acid free part, but pairing that with skin refinisher makes it sound a little scary right? I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name, but it’s just an exfoliator. It also has orange peel oil in it, it’s scrubby particles are nice and small so it’s easy to use, I hate when they have those big beads and too much cleanser, so you end up chasing them around with your fingertips and not getting much scrubbing in at all. https://www.giveawayservice.com/p/c0f5a1d0/c9b4c7e0

I’ve already done a post extolling this cold cream, but I figured I’d throw it in anyway. I use it with my little off brand cleansing brush, I found it at Big Lots for eight bucks, and I was able to get a couple packs of the replacements brush heads for it, so I was able to get myself set up for pretty cheap! I like using the cold cream with it because it gets up all my makeup and leaves my skin feeling super soft.

What’s your skin routine like? Thanks for visiting with me!
