Arvazallia Argan & Macadamia Oil Hair Line Review

Hello Lovelies!

I have very thick long hair as you might remember from my last hair post, and it gets oily pretty fast so I’m always on the hunt for the perfect shampoo that’ll work for me. I was offered some of Arvazallia’s (that’s a mouthful isn’t it?) hair line to try out, and at first I was kinda iffy since the whole line is infused with argan and macadamia oils, because why add more oil to my already oily prone hair?
But I decided to give them a spin because I keep hearing all sorts of wonderful things about using argan oil to moisturize your hair.

I’ve started off by using the shampoo and conditioner together by themselves for a couple days, I was hoping that they would have a macadamia scent to them (macadamia is up there with almond in my favorite scents), but they both have a very faint soapy smell to them, nothing nutty whatsoever.
Which is nice if you want to use just one with your regular shampoo or conditioner, having two different strongly scented products can leave your hair smelling kinda funky.
I love the shampoo, you know how most shampoos say “use a quarter sized amount for your hair”? Well I can actually do that with this, which really surprised me! It suds up very nicely and leaves my hair feeling super clean.
A little conditioner goes a long way too, but it doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy or weighed down. I started using one of Lush’s shampoo bars a couple weeks ago and since they’re very clarifying I love using this conditioner to put the moisture back into my hair.

Now the Argan Oil Hair Treatment smells heavenly, love that macadamia scent. Using it after the conditioner seemed like a little overkill to me, so I use this just after shampooing. It comes in a nice little glass jar with a pump, the color reminds me a bit of popcorn kernel oil though, haha. And totally unrelated to my hair, but after I finished working this through my damp hair, it left my hands feeling crazy soft and moisturized.

And finally the hair mask! This is their Hydrating Argan Oil Mask, the packaging recommends you to use it after roughly towel drying your hair in place of conditioner, and letting it sit in your hair for around seven minutes before rinsing it out. It’s a very thick mask, so I used quite a small dab of it, and I applied it to my hair starting chin down because of my oily roots. It left my hair incredibly sleek and moisturized, but again like the conditioner not weighed down at all.
I’ve linked each product where I mentioned it if you wanna check their pages out, have you ever tried any hair products like these before?
